A fun experience and the food is quite good. Be warned it is behind a market store front and you have to walk through the market. We almost left thinking it was just a market with takeout but they do have table service in a little restaurant. 5 stars for food and service 4 for the ambience and looks of the place. I am not an expert but I think this is a very authentic place. The market sells a lot of unique spices and food items. They bake their own Injira, make their own Tej (honey wine) and they are an importer and distribute for Ethiopian beer.

Small eating area in the back of the store. A few tables (maybe six) without place settings. Clean, with a few paintings on the wall. It is absolutely perfect for someone who wants good food and a simple environment. The people who come here are community regulars who know what they like to eat. You will generally need to wait a few minutes and go up to the counter to request a table and some menus. All of the people working have big smiles but done expect too much conversation if they don't know you.

Food is so good, we ordered the vegetarian and meat combo. Do not try to use all the rolled injera, after you make a dent use the injera under the food, it absorbs all the juices and it is phenomenal! We're coming back for breakfast!
